|Make sure to download Soundflower. http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/14067/soundflower
Output set to Soundflower 2ch.
Input set to your microphone. Best if external.
Set the Soundflower Driver to Built in Audio.
Start the Google Hangout. Set the Hangout Sound to Soundflower 2 channel with your Microphone. Input audio from your External Mic. Save Settings.
|When you Start Camtasia it will give you a Warning. Hit continue.
It will record the Soundflower and the Sound will be beautiful. However you will hear double sound in your headphones. Not a big deal. It won't sound like that when you playback.
After recording your Hangout, these are export settings from Camtasia that will be helpful. Do an advanced export.
Export to MPEG 4
Here's your video settings.
Here's audio export settings.
And Streaming settings...
That should be enough to give you a nice recorded Hangout! Good luck!
