1 | Make sure to download Soundflower. http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/14067/soundflowerOutput set to Soundflower 2ch. |
2 | Input set to your microphone. Best if external. |
3 | Set the Soundflower Driver to Built in Audio. |
4 | Start the Google Hangout. Set the Hangout Sound to Soundflower 2 channel with your Microphone. Input audio from your External Mic. Save Settings. |
5 | When you Start Camtasia it will give you a Warning. Hit continue. It will record the Soundflower and the Sound will be beautiful. However you will hear double sound in your headphones. Not a big deal. It won't sound like that when you playback. |
6 | After recording your Hangout, these are export settings from Camtasia that will be helpful. Do an advanced export. |
7 | Export to MPEG 4 |
8 | Here's your video settings. |
9 | Here's audio export settings. |
10 | And Streaming settings... |
11 | That should be enough to give you a nice recorded Hangout! Good luck! |
