When you have a Twitter account go to http://twitter.com/about/resources. Click on the big "Follow" button to create a button.

tildee tutorial imageEnter your Twitter user name and edit your follow button options. Then highlight this and copy it.

tildee tutorial imageGo to your moodle course and click the edit button (the icon of a hand with a pencil) wherever you want to add these buttons to your page.

tildee tutorial imageClick the "Toggle" button to go to your HTML source mode where you will be able to paste the HTML code you copied from the Twitter site.

tildee tutorial imageClick at the end of all the text and paste the code you copied in step 2. Now before you save this, go back to http://twitter.com/about/resources and click on the "Tweet" button to create another button.

tildee tutorial imageCopy HTML code on the right side of the page and navigate back to your moodle course.

tildee tutorial imagePaste this code at the end of the other code you pasted into your Editor and click "Save changes" at the bottom of the page. Now you will see your moodle course with Follow and Tweet buttons.

tildee tutorial imageIf you click the Follow button you will see your profile, recent tweets, and your followers/following.

tildee tutorial imageIf you click the Tweet button you will be given a pre-typed message with a link that you can tweet to all your followers.

Now you know how to create and use Twitter follow and tweet buttons in your moodle course.
