tildee tutorial imageIf you don't have a Gmail address and Google Account:

Go to to sign into your Google Reader. Enter you email Gmail address and Password and click "Sign In".


tildee tutorial imageOn the left you will see your Subscriptions, in the middle you will see your Home, and on the right you will see all the "recently interacted with" items.


tildee tutorial imageTo subscribe to a new blog, newspaper, twitter feed, or website click the "Add a subscription" button in the top left corner of the page.


tildee tutorial imageEnter a key word (or the exact name of the blog if you know it) of the site you want to sunscribe to and click "Add". Don't worry, this is only going to give you search results, it won't actually add a subscription until you pick the right one.


tildee tutorial imageYou will get a list of all the accounts, websites, blogs, and twitter feeds that relate to the word or phrase you searched for. Now you can find the one you want to follow.


tildee tutorial imageWhen you have found the subscription you want to follow click "Subscribe" and you will now receive updates from this site whenever they post something new on their site, twitter, account, or blog.


tildee tutorial imageOnce you have subscribed to something you can put it in a folder by clicking the "Change folders" menu and you can also unsubscribe anytime you want by clicking "Unsubscribe".


tildee tutorial imageNow that new subscription shows up in your Reader Home (the center column), where you can read snippets of each story or click on them to get the full story. You now have subscribed to something using your Reader, which is just one of the many tools Google offers with a Google Account.
