This tutorial was created to help teachers become more familiar with the Moodle shell interface. This is what your course will look like when it's created.


tildee tutorial imageDown the center of the shell is the course outline. The first module in the outline is used to introduce your course while the other five organize your course content.

tildee tutorial imageEach shell comes with two columns on either side of the course outline to provide space for blocks. Each block is defined by it's heading and a provides an action, tool, or resource. To add blocks to your course, you must turn editing on. A block named "Blocks" in the bottom right corner will appear and by selecting the drop down menu you can choose from over 30 different blocks.


Now you are more familiar with and know how to rearrange the interface of your new Moodle shell.
