Hawked Is Shutting Down In September 2026 On Consoles, In-Game Purchases Now Disabled – PlayStation Universe
MY.GAMES has confirmed that its extraction-style shooter HAWKED is entering its sunset phase in 2026. The PC version is scheduled to go offline on June 9, 2026, with the console servers following on September 7, 2026. As of March 11, 2026, all in-game transactions have been switched off across platforms, though players can continue using previously acquired items until the shutdown dates.
What’s changing
- PC shutdown: Online services for HAWKED on PC end June 9, 2026.
- Console shutdown: PlayStation and Xbox servers close September 7, 2026.
- Store closed: In-game purchases and payments were disabled on March 11, 2026.
- Your items remain: Existing cosmetics, gear, and other owned content can still be used until servers are deactivated.
Why it’s closing
The studio stated that, following internal discussions, it is reallocating resources to other projects and future initiatives. In short, HAWKED’s live support is being wound down so the team can concentrate on new developments elsewhere within the company’s portfolio.
A send-off for X-Isle
HAWKED carved out a niche with its pulp-adventure tone and a blend of PvPvE: scavenging relics, cracking environmental puzzles, and fending off rivals while trekking through lush jungles and crumbled ruins. The world of X-Isle—complete with roaming Caravans, hidden Relics, and the ever-present VEKTR threat—gave squads of Renegades plenty to chase, and the community rallied around its treasure-hunting loop.
As the servers approach their final days, players can still drop in, squad up, and make the most of their loadouts. Progression and gear you already own remain accessible; the only change is that the cash shop is no longer active.
What players should do now
- Log in before shutdown to enjoy remaining events and content with your current inventory.
- Double-check platform-specific shutdown times: PC first on June 9, then consoles on September 7.
- Be aware there are no new purchases available; plan your sessions around what you’ve already unlocked.
The road ahead
While the conclusion of support for HAWKED marks the end of its run, the move signals a pivot to new projects at the publisher. For fans, it’s a final window to revisit favorite routes, perfect those late-game extractions, and close out the adventure on X-Isle together.
Once servers go dark on the stated dates, online access will cease. Until then, squads can continue to explore, puzzle-solve, and clash over precious artifacts using all content already in their inventories.
