Ukraine says latest peace talks with U.S., Europe “productive”

The discussions aimed to push a 20-point peace framework forward, align positions on security guarantees within multilateral structures, and refine an economic recovery plan intended to stabilize the country and promote growth. Participants also worked through timelines and the sequencing of forthcoming steps to keep the process on track.

Umerov underscored a shared objective: to halt hostilities, secure reliable security assurances, and lay the groundwork for Ukraine’s recovery, stability, and long-term prosperity.

A U.S. presidential special envoy acknowledged that the meetings were productive and constructive, signaling ongoing engagement and future steps.
