Invisible Technologies has acquired WeCP, the technical assessment platform co-founded by Indian entrepreneurs Abhishek Kaushik and Mohit Goyal, underscoring a pivotal shift in how the AI industry sources, verifies, and scales human expertise to build better models.

From Hiring Engineers to Training Machines

WeCP began with a clear mission: measure real technical ability rather than rely on resumes or conversational interviews. The platform enabled candidates to showcase capabilities through hands-on coding challenges, system design simulations, and structured problem-solving tasks. Over time, it amassed a deep library of assessments spanning software engineering, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data science—tools that helped companies evaluate engineers, data scientists, and other technical professionals with greater fidelity.

As AI development accelerated, the WeCP team recognized a parallel: the same pain point that plagued hiring—verifying true expertise—had emerged at the core of AI training and evaluation. Models increasingly require human experts to create data, critique outputs, simulate real-world scenarios, and provide feedback that shapes model reasoning.
