Machine learning algorithm sets Solana price for August 1, 2026
Solana (SOL) slipped nearly 5% on July 28 as a wider crypto market selloff weighed on sentiment, and a machine learning-based forecast suggests the token may not fully rebound by the start of August.
According to Finbold’s AI Agent, Solana is projected to trade at an average of $72.3 on August 1, 2026. With SOL currently priced at $73.16, that points to a modest 1.18% decline over the period.
The estimate is based on the average output of three large language models, each offering a slightly different short-term view. Claude Sonnet 5 delivered the most bullish forecast, putting SOL at $73.05, only 0.15% below its current level. DeepSeek Chat was somewhat more cautious, calling for a move to $72.50, a drop of about 0.9%. The most bearish call came from Grok 4.5, which sees Solana slipping to $71.35, implying a 2.47% decline.
Taken together, the models paint a cautiously bearish picture. Still, the projected range remains relatively tight, suggesting expectations for sideways trading or mild weakness rather than a sharp breakdown.
Market pressure remains broad-based
Solana’s weakness comes amid a wider downturn across digital assets. The broader crypto market has fallen roughly 2.75% over the past 24 hours, while Bitcoin (BTC) has dropped about 2.67%. That broader risk-off backdrop has added to the selling pressure on SOL, especially after the token slipped below an important technical support area.
Even so, there are signs that institutional interest could offer some support. U.S. spot Solana ETFs have continued to post inflows, including a net $1.03 million on July 27. Meanwhile, the newly approved Morgan Stanley Solana ETF is also being watched as a potentially supportive catalyst for price action.
Technical outlook for SOL
From a chart perspective, Solana is now hovering near the $73 support zone. Its relative strength index (RSI) has fallen to 29.04, a level typically associated with oversold conditions. That could mean selling has become stretched in the short term, though oversold readings do not guarantee an immediate reversal.
The next key area for traders is around $70. If bulls manage to defend that level, SOL could stage a recovery toward $77.5. However, a decisive break below $70 would likely increase the risk of a deeper move lower, with $65 emerging as the next downside target.
For now, the machine learning consensus suggests Solana may remain under pressure into August 1, though the expected decline appears limited rather than severe.
