Lady Hornets claim bi-district win in five sets

The Hardin Lady Hornets opened their playoff run with a hard-fought bi-district victory over the Warren Lady Warriors on Thursday night in Hamshire.

After completing district play without a loss, Hardin faced a determined Warren squad that refused to go quietly. The match was level at two sets apiece, setting up a decisive fifth set.

The Lady Hornets responded with their strongest finish of the night. Hardin maintained its composure in the final frame before Trinity West delivered the winning play, sending a block into an open area of the court and securing the victory for the blue and gold.

Hardin’s coaching staff praised both teams for their effort, noting that Warren continued to battle throughout the match while the Lady Hornets matched that intensity when it mattered most.
