Ghost Recon Wildlands: Last Rites Update Adds 4K/60 FPS, Deeper Customisation & New Mission – Full Patch Notes Listed
Ubisoft is celebrating 25 years of Ghost Recon with a sizable update for Ghost Recon Wildlands. The “Last Rites” patch brings a brand-new story mission, 4K/60 FPS options on current-gen hardware, expanded customisation across difficulty, HUD, and world settings, and the long-requested return of the Predator mission. Store systems have also been overhauled, with loot boxes removed and a raft of cosmetics unlocked for everyone.
Originally launched in 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Wildlands traded the series’ near-future tech for a grounded, sprawling open world. This update leans into that sandbox with more flexibility, cleaner menus, and a heap of unlocks—both new and legacy.
Highlights
- New Last Rites story mission available from the main menu.
- 4K/60 FPS visual options added on current-gen platforms.
- Predator mission “The Jungle Moved” reactivated in Caimanes.
- Deep customisation for difficulty, HUD, Ghost parameters, and world settings.
- Store revamp: no more loot boxes; direct purchases and collections introduced.
- Dozens of cosmetics and past challenge rewards unlocked for all players.
