Jim Ross Undergoes Multiple Biopsies
Jim Ross, the WWE Hall of Famer, anticipated a routine check with a dermatologist but left the clinic with tissue samples from several back moles and a looming wait for pathology results.
During a recent episode of Grilling JR, Ross recounted that his daughter urged him to have a series of moles checked after a routine screening. The dermatologist found multiple lesions—seven or eight—that required further examination.
The procedure involved numbing around the affected areas and collecting samples from each mole. The lab will analyze the tissue, and Ross noted that the official findings should arrive in roughly ten days as he hopes for reassuring news.
He described the experience as uncomfortable and draining, citing the repeated injections and overall fatigue from ongoing medical care through the summer. He admitted feeling worn down by the process but remained hopeful about the results.
Ross also referenced a continuing medical history tied to prior treatments for an ankle injury, including extensive radiation therapy, which has left healing slow. The current dermatology visit adds to a sequence of medical steps that may involve additional specialist care if needed.
The update left fans awaiting the biopsy results and hoping for positive news.
