Premier League Saturday Tipsheet: Bets for all eight games from Mark Stinchcombe including a 24/1 ACCA

Saturday’s Premier League programme features eight matches, ranging from a lunchtime clash at Stamford Bridge to Aston Villa’s evening meeting with Fulham. Here are the leading selections for every game, plus a five-leg accumulator priced at approximately 24/1.

Odds are indicative and may change. Please gamble responsibly.

Chelsea v Manchester United

Kick-off: 12:30

Chelsea enter the weekend without several influential players, including Joao Pedro, Reece James and Emi Martinez. Those absences could expose a defence that has already struggled during the opening eight matches.

Manchester United’s results have attracted criticism, but their underlying performances suggest there is not a huge gulf between these teams. With Chelsea appearing too short in the match market, supporting the visitors with a one-goal start offers greater protection.

Tip: Manchester United +1 handicap at 1/1

Bournemouth v Leeds United

Kick-off: 15:00

Leeds have been difficult to beat, losing only once so far. Their progress has been built around a well-organised defence and the form of goalkeeper James Trafford, with just six league goals conceded.

The visitors have been less convincing in attack, contributing to six of their eight fixtures finishing below 2.5 goals. Bournemouth have also played several restrained home matches under Marco Rose, making another low-scoring contest appealing.

Tip: Under 2.5 goals at 10/11

Brentford v Nottingham Forest

Kick-off: 15:00

Brentford’s position in the top half owes more to avoiding defeat than consistently collecting wins. Five of their previous seven games have ended level, while clean sheets have been uncommon.

Forest have struggled to convert chances, but their expected-goals numbers indicate that performances have deserved a better return. They have also limited opponents effectively, with Xaver Schlager’s tackling providing valuable protection in midfield. Forest can extend Brentford’s run of frustrating afternoons.

Tip: Nottingham Forest +0.5 Asian handicap at 1.89

Coventry City v Sunderland

Kick-off: 15:00

Sunderland may start as favourites, but their recent form makes that position difficult to justify. They have lost four of five, gone six games without winning and registered only one league victory all season.

Coventry sit nearby in the table but have shown more encouraging signs, winning twice during their last four outings. Home advantage at the CBS Arena strengthens the case for keeping the Sky Blues onside.

Tip: Coventry +0.25 Asian handicap at 1.91

Hull City v Ipswich Town

Kick-off: 15:00

Both promoted clubs have made respectable starts despite regularly operating without the majority of possession. Hull average only 32.5% of the ball, while Ipswich are also among the division’s lowest-possession teams.

Five of Hull’s eight matches have produced fewer than three goals. With both sides comfortable playing cautiously and disrupting attacks in midfield, this could become a physical, attritional encounter rather than an open shootout.

Tip: Under 2.5 goals at 19/20

Manchester City v Brighton

Kick-off: 15:00

This meeting brings together two of the early pace-setters. Five of their previous six encounters have cleared 2.5 goals, while Erling Haaland has scored in seven consecutive league appearances and in each of his last five games against Brighton.

The more adventurous angle comes in the card market. Marc Guehi has been booked in three successive appearances against Brighton, while Enzo Fernandez has received cards in three of his last five meetings with them. With referee Craig Pawson averaging five cards per game this season, the double is worth considering at a substantial price.

Tip: Marc Guehi and Enzo Fernandez both to be shown a card at 25/1

Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace

Kick-off: 17:30

Successive victories have eased the pressure on Tottenham, but a short price assumes their wider problems have disappeared. Palace remain only two points behind Spurs and should gain confidence from their midweek cup victory at Fulham.

The returns of Jean-Philippe Mateta and Evann Guessand improve Palace’s attacking options. The +1 Asian handicap also provides useful insurance: a one-goal Tottenham victory returns the stake, while a draw or Palace win delivers a profit.

Tip: Crystal Palace +1 Asian handicap at 2.02

Aston Villa v Fulham

Kick-off: 20:00

Fulham have finally recorded consecutive wins, although both were narrow 1-0 results against promoted opposition. This trip represents a considerably tougher examination.

Aston Villa have won four straight matches across domestic and European competition, including an impressive victory over Manchester City. Summer arrivals Nicolas Jackson and Johan Manzambi have quickly contributed goals and assists, suggesting Villa’s revamped attack is beginning to settle.

Tip: Aston Villa to win at 19/20

Saturday’s 24/1 Accumulator

  • Manchester United +1 handicap
  • Under 2.5 goals in Bournemouth v Leeds
  • Nottingham Forest or draw
  • Under 2.5 goals in Hull v Ipswich
  • Aston Villa to win

Combined price: approximately 24/1
