Sharplink CEO Ties Ether (ETH) Case to Wider Ethereum Adoption | TokenPost
Sharplink CEO Joseph Chalom says the long-term investment case for Ether (ETH) will likely be driven by broader real-world use of Ethereum rather than a single breakout event.
In a Nov. 2 interview, Chalom argued that Ethereum’s future growth should be viewed through the expansion of applications already gaining momentum. Instead of waiting for one major catalyst, he pointed to several areas where adoption could steadily strengthen demand for the network and its native asset.
Among the most important trends he identified were stablecoins, tokenized public equities, and transactions between AI agents. In his view, these sectors could play a meaningful role in expanding Ethereum’s utility over time.
Stablecoins remain one of the clearest examples of blockchain technology finding practical use at scale. Because Ethereum has long served as a major foundation for stablecoin activity, increased usage in payments, transfers, and financial services could further reinforce its importance in the digital asset ecosystem.
Chalom also highlighted tokenized public equities as another area with room to grow. If more traditional financial assets are represented on blockchain networks, Ethereum could benefit from the increased transaction volume and infrastructure demand tied to this shift. The tokenization of stocks and other regulated instruments has been widely discussed as a bridge between conventional finance and decentralized systems.
A third theme Chalom raised was the potential for AI agents to transact directly with one another. As artificial intelligence systems become more autonomous, blockchain networks such as Ethereum could provide a transparent and programmable framework for machine-to-machine payments, settlements, and coordination. While this use case is still emerging, it is increasingly being discussed as a possible long-term growth driver for crypto networks.
Chalom’s comments suggest that Ethereum’s outlook may depend less on hype around a single event and more on the gradual accumulation of practical use cases. That framing reflects a broader shift in the digital asset market, where investors and executives are paying closer attention to utility, infrastructure, and sustained adoption.
For Ether, the implication is straightforward: the stronger Ethereum’s role becomes across stablecoins, tokenized assets, and AI-driven transactions, the stronger the argument may be for ETH as a long-term asset tied to the network’s expanding relevance.
